Haim made their Saturday Night Live debut this evening (November 23) and cemented their status as one of the hottest bands of 2013 with a rollicking rendition of breakthrough hit "The Wire". After a tiny stumble at the beginning, the sisters eventually found their groove and, no doubt, won an army of new fans.
The band's musicianship is beyond repute after years of endless live performances and the ladies' harmonies were as sharp as ever. There was a momentary sound issue at the beginning but it was quickly resolved. Seeing Este's now iconic bass face on TV was a rare treat and they reminded us all that the "The Wire" is one hell of a tune. Watch Haim not fumble it up top.
