Hot Trends: Josh Gordon's consecutive 200-yard games set record

Josh Gordon just made history.

One week after piling up 237 yards receiving against the Steelers, the Browns receiver scorched Jacksonville's defense for another 261 off 10 catches in Cleveland's 32-28 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday. Gordon is the first player in NFL history to post back-to-back 200-yard outings.

On a team under construction, Gordon has fully bloomed. It doesn't matter who's under center -- Brian Hoyer, Jason Campbell, even Brandon Weeden -- the second-year pass-catcher has produced week after week.

The subject of trade rumors earlier in the year, Gordon also became Cleveland's first 1,000-yard receiver since Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow both accomplished that in 2007. With six 100-yard outings in 2013, Gordon has emerged as a bona fide deep threat and one of the game's more electrifying receivers.

It's daunting to imagine what Gordon might become if a franchise passer ever emerges from the rubble in C-Town. We previewed every Week 13 game in the latest "Around The League Podcast."
